Kacchan slides a very familiar letter across the table to him and asks, “What the fuck is this?”
Izuku really feels like he’s about to explode.
Because that letter is possibly the culmination of the biggest feelings he’s ever had: love, and all of it for Kacchan.
Izuku wrote it at thirteen. When he knew that his best friend since diapers would never return the feelings, but Izuku felt like they were so heavy they needed to be shared.
He wrote the letter, poured his aching, crushing tween heart out onto two and a half pages of college ruled notebook paper, and addressed it in his best calligraphy. To: Kacchan. Izuku remembers his thirteen year old self debating before adding on a little explosion sticker.
Now, at seventeen, he’s debating the pros and cons of jumping out of the nearest window.
OR: Izuku writes Katsuki a love letter. 4 years later, Katsuki receives it. Izuku is still very much in love with him, and Katsuki is very much not.

Read this on tumblr awhile ago when the first chapter came out and followed the updates until like chapter 4 and was waiting for the last chapter but then got busy w life and forgot ab it until I found it again when I was looking thru the authors ao3 account(bc I follow them on tumblr 💀 ) and realized it was finally completed. Why it hadn’t come across my feed once the last chapter was posted is beyond me since I literally reblogged every chapter and everything and I’ll forever curse tumblr’s algorithm for making me even forget that this existed but REGARDLESS….
I am not a crier. I don’t cry very often… but I must admit, this made me cry. Wonderfully written, perfect pacing, and the reader’s character felt enticing yet still so unbelievably relatable to me it didn’t feel like a cheesy self insert OC but instead a fleshed out person. Sukuna was unbelievably flawed yet righteous in his own way which was made me love him even more omg. It is now officially tied with TNWM as my fav fic/general piece of literature ever I think. Would recommend 10000/10 😭
