Summary
Merlin never moved on from Arthur. Not really. He had, however, managed to allow himself to live in the moment a bit more.
That is, of course, until Arthur Pendragon crawled out of a lake, and Merlin's world turned upside down.
Cue evil sorceresses, time travel, and an adventure for the ages.
Oh, and Merthur, of course.Bookmarked by cmg558

Summary
“Hello, Jonah,” Jon replied. The other man looked at him in stunned silence. Then his expression changed to one of confusion, which made Jon huff out a laugh. “Did you really think I'd let you Know anything beyond my name?” He shook his head in faux disbelief. “Such a silly fool.” He looked Jonah straight in the eye and said: “You, however, are like an open book.” He took a seat in front of the enormous desk. “Now. I only came all this way up here so I could take my time to read you. Obviously you're trying to bring about the Unknowing, but you're missing one key ingredient for that and you're not going to get it any time soon.” He paused, shooting Jonah a smirk. “Can you guess what it is?” he asked.
Or: Jon finds himself in a parallel universe, where Jonah is kind of a noob, Jonathan Sims never existed and Martin is not his. He decides to embrace everything that comes with being The Archive, and possibly take over the Magnus Institute. The only question is, if he will lose himself fully to the Beholding
or: a guide to becoming the Archive
Also English is my second language, so please do excuse any mistakes.

Summary
Jon takes his phone, abandoned on the bedside table since he left for their mission, and chooses the first number on his speed dial. Martin's name pops up on the screen; Jon stares at it, somewhat helplessly. He doesn't know how to put everything that happened into words yet, but Martin must be worried sick wondering what is happening to them. And Jon really wants to hear his voice.
After barely one tone, Martin picks up.
"Hello?" he says, small and worried. As if he isn't sure if he should be expecting to hear Jon, or the police, or the paramedics.
Still, Jon can't really imagine a sound that might soothe and ground him more now.
"...It's me," he whispers.
From the Unknowing to the death of Martin's mother - except this time, Jon is there.

Summary
As soon as they were out of earshot, Tim turned to him.
“Oh. My. God.” He said, grinning. Martin was entirely too overwhelmed by whatever the fuck had just happened to respond.
“He asked if you were in the shop tomorrow? Fuck!”
Martin just gave an exasperated sort of noise. “S-sorry, have I missed something?”
“Right, right. No, I mean, it’s literally crazy to me that you don’t already know this, but Jon is, like, a total prick! All the time! I mean full-on irritable co-worker. Or at least, he was,” There was that grin again. To say Martin was taken aback was an understatement.
“I mean, I know he has a lot of work, but he never came off as irritable?” Martin said, astounded. Tim clapped him on the back.
“That, my friend, speaks volumes.”_____________
Or, Martin is a barista. Jon hates coffee. Somehow, he finds himself visiting Martin's shop every chance he gets.

Summary
After the end, The Archivist and Martin Blackwood do end up somewhere else. That somewhere else turns out to be a mirror of their own universe, except early enough to save everyone, barely. They arrive right when Jane Prentiss is laying waste to the Archives.
So, this isn't finished, but I don't know when I'll have time to continue it, if ever, but I still like what I did finish enough to not leave it languishing unseen. The six chapters I did get done will be posted one per day. For what it's worth, I hope you enjoy what's here.
