Summary
Between. That is what Tyler felt. Between himself and Blurryface. Between a success and a failure. Between special and dreadfully normal. Between his old life, outside the Tower and the current one, inside. Between a good son and a bad one.
“I don’t…I don’t know what to do,” he confessed.
His throat scratched, his legs ached from sprinting. He was pretty sure his fist was bruised and maybe his shoulder, too. He didn’t know. Tyler looked at Nico and begged for some direction.
“Blurryface wants you, son. Now, you have to want him back.”

"Sure," Torch said. "Some life. Alone in a Tower. Becoming the thing you hated so much—"
"You don't know what I hate." Anger scraped its fine nail up the inside of Nova.
"No. And that was always the issue."

“Could you be kissed?” He asked.
It was hard to take in all at once. His stubble was giving way to a full beard. A speckled and grey dove perched on a branch behind him. Nimloth, ubiquitous and noisome, carried a heavy smell on the wind all around them. The details were large and terrible to her. Everything was more than it was.
She’d torn apart the Hall of Lore, agreed to divert her quest for weeks on this island, gotten herself arrested, inadvertently caused a tavern brawl. What a catastrophe he’d made of her already. Oh help, she wanted to say. And still, she really didn’t wish to say it at all.--
or: haladriel and its the same but everything is romantic so it’s not.

"You could’ve had much more, Galadriel. And you know it.”
“From you? Is this what you mean? Say it plainly, then. Make another pathetic offer, as you are want to do.” The words seeped out of her like poison, leaking through her gritted teeth.

Summary
“Wishing for things doesn’t make them happen,” she said. It was probably a little mean, but she softened her tone as much as she could.
Link’s summer sea blue eyes opened in the dark. “No? Then how come I’m here? And you’re here? And the world’s here?” He moved her palm to his lips and left a solemn little kiss there, right at the center. Zelda’s nerves light.
“Dumb luck?”

Summary
Tyler, a freshly graduated meteorology student, is starting his first year with StormPar, chasing tornadoes and gathering critical data. His mission is dangerous and deeply personal.
He's determined to unlock the mysteries of these violent storms, but his plans are completely thrown into chaos when he's forced to team up with Joshua Dun, a brash Twitch-streaming storm chaser known for his reckless antics and his self-proclaimed title of "Tornado Wrangler."
Tyler can't stand Josh's flashy, attention grabbing style, while Josh finds Tyler's meticulous, science driven approach infuriating.
They’re both determined to prove the other wrong. But as twisters touch down and close calls mount, the dynamic between them begins to shift. Hatred gives way to something quieter. Closer. The friction that once sparked arguments begins to ignite something else entirely.
And in the heart of the storm, nothing stays the same.

Summary
“In all her glory, the land we return to”
When Banditos come of age they are invited to join others of their age on a pilgrimage, taking them across the wilds of Trench in all her glory. It’s a test for them, to prove they can survive the land. Some go only once, feeling they have proved themselves enough, some go many times, a new venture each year. But all are expected to go.
Sóley, approaching adulthood like a burning comet, has yet to have her pilgrimage. And if her father, their tribe leader and torchbearer, has anything to say on the matter, she will never be leaving the many walls of their village.
---
OR: Sóley, daughter of The Torchbearer, wakes up one morning with her head shaved. This event leads to an undercover mission in DEMA, watching her best friend die, and becoming physically chained to a former Bishop fleeing his life in search of his past.
The new Bandito must learn to trust and work with her supposed enemy in order to get back home, but what awaits them there is nothing like either expects.Bookmarked by constellatns

Summary
As she’s working with the next few patients (broken leg, UTI, baby with a fever), no one else says anything, though she does get a kind little smile from Jesse that says that he heard what happened but he doesn’t care. Too bad he’s gay. He’s kind and can actually hold a conversation, and that salt and pepper hair is —
“Dr. Mohan,” Abbot calls from somewhere behind her as she’s finishing up her last chart before she hands off to the night shift. “Come see me before you clock out.”
