Summary

Summary
An anthology of one-shots tracing what might have been between Lily Evans and Severus Snape, if they had chosen each other.
Recent chapters:
ch. 5: 1991 school year. Professor Snape (née Evans) is faced with James Potter's and Marlene McKinnon's child, her own avoidance, and the difference between caring and actually doing something.
ch. 6: August 1979. Lily and Severus try fleeing the Wizarding War on forged passports for France with Majorca as a stopover, and accompanied by the Dursley's, they discover that the hardest border to cross is the one between leaving and staying.
ch. 7: July 1992. A long-awaited Hogwarts letter arrives at Spinner's End and the day Lily has been planning for eleven years takes a hard left somewhere between Diagon Alley and teatime, and doesn't come right again until midnight.
ch. 8: Nine months in 1980. The war doesn't reach Spinner's End all year; something else does.
ch. 9: Early eighties. They learn to be parents, together and apart and at different speeds. Severus takes longer.
These serve as epilogues to Septennium and Novennial, but can work as standalone pieces.
