"Ron sighs as he enters his apartment, throwing his briefcase somewhere close to the door, with his shoes following. He goes to the kitchen and takes a piece of bread out, the wrinkling of the plastic sounded so far away. He puts the rest of the loaf back and just bites into the plain bread. He doesn’t have the energy to get out any spreads or use his toaster. Said toaster looks like it’s on its last few specks of life, with crumbs in nearly every crevice of the device. He had used it this morning, and the one before that, and the one before that, and for dinner the other night too, oh, and in the morning of that same day too. He thinks the toaster hasn’t had a single day of break for the last few years. Save for when he was late to work.
There’s 2 pill bottles next to the toaster. He pushes them behind the appliance."
Ron is miserable, and I like him that way.
