“-ohnny, g-i -n?” crackled the radio. Soap didn’t hear it, but it did. It dropped his leg and huffed furiously, turning Soap back into his back.
“-an you hear me? Johnny?” oh fuck, oh fuck it was Ghost. The creature’s ears twitched, and its eyes narrowed. He was already a dead man. Might as well seal his fate.
“Simon,” he whispered, shaking. The creature watched. “Something’s got me. I- I think it’s going to kill me. Don’t find me. Please, God, fuck, don’t find me. Get out of the woods. Just- jus’ go, okay?”
Simon gasped. “I’m not leaving you, Soap. Hold on.”
“No, no- don’t! Ah think it knows, Si,” he sobbed, voice becoming louder. Near shouting. It bared its teeth. Grinning. “It knows you’re coming. You have to go! Please-“

Summary
Soap looked dumbly at the explosives, his tired mind taking a second longer to piece together the evidence than usual.
Shit.
“We have to go. Now.” Soap’s shaky voice sounded loud after being so careful to make no noise, but he didn’t care.
“MacTavish?” Price asked at the same time as Ghost uttered a concerned “Johnny?”
“Now.” He repeated fiercely, already moving to grab Ghost from the ground.
Soap, Ghost, Price and Gaz are on a mission to take out Hassan's allies. It goes south when explosives cause the cave system to collapse, injuring and trapping the team.

In celebration of Gaz's birthday, the team go to the bar. Lots of good events happen until that changes. Ghost, who has been dating Soap for a few months, watches his lover leave the bar with someone else. The trust that was built was destroyed then and there. After those events, Ghost ignores the other when he tries to talk to him. Little did he know, it was all a big misunderstanding.
