Summary
If you’re going to blow up your own life, why not do it with style? Carefully, Lucifer slipped the engagement ring onto the Radio Demon’s finger.
“It’s beautiful, darling." Alastor grinned. "I can’t wait to shove it in certain people’s faces.”
“Of course.” Lucifer laughed and kissed him again. “Oh, Alastor. My Alastor.” The devil smiled, wrapping his arms tightly around him. “... I guess it will finally be proper to have you in my bed soon.”
Suddenly, Alastor felt cold. “... yes. It will be.”
“I can’t wait,” Lucifer whispered, his voice low and full of promises.
Alastor smiled. His insides twisted with dread.
Alastor had always struggled with intimacy. But instead of telling Lucifer any of this, admitting that he’s ‘broken’ in such a fundamental way, he told a tiny white lie: he was waiting till marriage. For years, that lie kept him safe, and no lines had to be crossed.
... until the night Lucifer proposed.

Summary
After separating from Lilith, Lucifer thought he would never love again. And yet he did: he fell in love with a human. Naturally, Heaven wouldn't allow it, so he had to abandon everything, knowing he would never see Alastor again.
Hell just wasn't for him.
Of course, God enjoyed giving him challenges such as having the bellhop of his daughter's hotel being named the same. Still, all Lucifer needed to do was ignore that minor detail. The radio demon was irritating and could never be the very same Alastor he had once loved.

Angel lifted his head, freezing on spotting Charlie’s rectangle. “Holy shit! Is that a fuckin’ cellphone?!”
Charlie gave a nervous laugh. “Yeah. You don’t have a charger do you?”
He pointed at Alastor, eyes narrowing. “How come the new girl gets t’keep her phone? Ya said that shit don't exist around here!”
“It doesn’t,” Alastor said, flabbergasted.
Charlie’s gaze darted between them. “…this isn’t a cult or something, is it…? I’m just so busy between work and school, I don’t have time to join a cult right now.”
Angel’s shoulders sagged. “Nobody told ya…?”
“Told me what?”
“That you’re dead.”
She didn’t laugh this time. “What?”
“Everybody here’s dead.“

A living girl walks into a coffee shop for the dead... Unfortunately for Alastor, the head of a village of ghosts, Charlie’s arrival isn’t the setup for a joke. Though she vows to lay the wayward souls to rest, he's sure she'll be a blip in his century of life after death. He’s unprepared for the changes she brings, the most obnoxious being a man who looks just like her.
