Summary
Erwin and Levi met in high school. They started dating in college and explored their sexualities and sexual preferences together. They moved in together after graduation with the support of their parents. A few years later, they got married, and four years ago, in their early thirties, they adopted two kids. Of course, they talked about everything beforehand. Money, space, and the limitation of their time together, including their sex life. When they first moved in together after college, they spent much of their free time having sex on every surface in their apartment or even in Erwin’s crappy old car. That’s no longer possible since two children are running around, taking up most of their time apart from work. Sure, they still have the weekend, but they are too tired to do anything other than kiss most of the time.

Canon-divergent AU. Kenny survives and is convinced by Erwin to support the Survey Corps in Shiganshina. Everyone lives, including Zeke, who’s dragged back to the Walls kicking and screaming. Experiments and politics ensue.

A voice cut the Tsaritsa off mid-sentence, prompting startled gasps from around the room. What followed was a deafening silence as Scaramouche’s mind struggled to comprehend what had just happened. Tartaglia stood at his seat, eyes wide and nervous.
The Tsaritsa, for her part, seemed appropriately appalled. “What? Have you forgotten your place, Eleventh?”
“As a Harbinger,” Tartaglia swallowed, steadying his voice, “I have the right to pardon those subject to trial.”

Scaramouche stands trial for his betrayal of the Tsaritsa.
Tartaglia defends him.
Their lives are intertwined in the process.

“Oh, save it. Don’t involve me in your stupid gambles. God, I didn’t know that got you off…” He was grumbling now as he stood, wiping his legs off with the already dirtied linen. “I’m going to bathe, don’t even think of joining me. Not until whatever this,” Levi gestured to all of him, “is, is out of your system.” And with that he stormed off.
Erwin rubbed his decidedly real hand over his face, sighing heavily.

Summary
The statistic was a footnote. Erwin treated it like a thread worth pulling. Levi had known, eventually, that he would. He just hadn't anticipated that the carriage ride home would be where everything unraveled, or that unraveling would feel this much like relief.
