Summary
A-na.
Three letters and a dash.
The person Juun has despised her whole life.
She hated her overly positive and bubbly personality. She hated the way she would turn everything into a joke. How she would never take anything serious and just mess around with everybody.
People had always called them frenemies. Juun never understood. How could people even think of describing Juun's relationship with her most hated person as 'frenemies'?
It only gets worse when Juun goes to college. A-na is her roommate. A-na chose to be her roommate.
Despite all effort Juun puts in to hate A-na like she used to, it doesn't work.
Confusion blooms, just not enough to conceal the love actively developing between them.

Summary
Their elbows brush against each other and Yoona has half the mind to try to ‘accidentally’ knock their knees together. Maybe she should ‘accidentally’ brush her hand against Jiwoo's somehow. Or perhaps ‘accidentally' lean in too close when asking a question.
But Jiwoo has a boyfriend - she should back off.
Unfortunately for Yoona, Jiwoo having a boyfriend only makes her want her more. She wants to show Jiwoo how much better she can treat her. She wants to show Jiwoo how much better she can touch her. She wants to show Jiwoo that she's wrong.

Summary
“Okay. Ready when you are,” Jiwoo says, hopefully breaking the tension. She hears her voice waver, her nerves seeping through. Jinsol smiles at her, either not noticing or not caring.
Jiwoo slings her bag over her shoulder and zips up her jacket as Jinsol starts walking towards the exit, assuming that Jiwoo will follow. Jiwoo, of course, does.
However, when they finally reach the elevator, Jinsol drops an earth-shattering bomb:
“Yoona is waiting downstairs. She’ll walk with us, if that’s okay.”

Summary
Jinsol began to recall her friends' folktales again, along with the scribbled pictures and descriptions of the monsters they entailed. The origins and stories of those beasts—ones that Jinsol took no interest in, rather finding them simple jokes to frighten young children—rushed back to her.
“You’re one of them,” she breathed. Her feet started to subconsciously take slow steps, not away from the monster, but towards it. “You’re a vampire.”
