Summary
when Kusakabe Yuma, a member of photography club, was asked to publish a 'Place Recommendation' for the bulletin and for the sake of the club, he did not opted to take a 'safe' picture. Instead, he took a picture of the bruised purple dawn from the old observation deck on the edge of the of the city. He did not expect anything and submitted the photo solely to try and save the club.
The photo then seen by Aoki Haruhisa, the star player of the school's baseball team, who realized the devastating loneliness it implied, and decided to go and see the place itself, and single handedly save the photography club.
These unexpected red strings brought them to the small town of Higashiizu, where they promised a truce, specifically for their summer break.
