Summary
8am sunlight was pouring through the window, dousing the kitchen in a beautiful golden shine. After another sip of coffee, Rinne was finally able to process the jumbled thoughts in his head and open his tired, sleep-rimmed eyes. There Niki was, in a neon-yellow, oversized t-shirt that reads ‘Will you BEE my valentine?” in tacky font with an ugly print of a wonky bee on it.

Summary
Rinne was in a little bit of a predicament.
He had just come home from winning big time at the pachinko parlour, a box of tarts he bought for Niki in hand.
However, when he opened the door, he was greeted with the sight of Niki on the floor, wrapped head to toe in cheap Christmas lighting, hands tied up tightly behind his back.

Summary
Despite having long been past the initial buzz of his first encounter with romance, Niki always found his heart rate speeding up and breath catching when he had the chance to really admire Rinne’s beauty.
The fact that they broke up years ago still doesn’t change that.
Or, Niki takes the wrong bus and accidentally bumps into his ex (that he still loves).

Summary
Niki was completely drained.
He was coming home from a birthday celebration event that was held for his fans, which had overrun by an hour. He never thought that he’d have to work this hard on his birthday, sighing in exhaustion as he trudged home.
When he finally reached his apartment, he was surprised to see the lights on and a sweet smell wafting from the kitchen. Didn’t Rinne say he was going to be out until 9?
