“Huh?” Takeru shifts his focus from the blank paper to Daisuke once more. He sees now that Daisuke switched his position on the couch to face Takeru again.
“I mean,” Daisuke tries to explain, focusing his gaze on anywhere but Takeru, feeling somewhat uneasy, “...You probably could have gone for anyone in the world and gotten with ‘em, but you chose someone like me.”
