Summary
Let it be known that Sherlock Holmes only has one problem. The one problem he cannot solve for the life of him, no matter how hard he tries.
He has a charismatic attitude, a smile that could kill, and an accent that makes all the ladies swoon. Maybe even the men. He sits across from Sherlock at the dining room table, flirting with his sister.
James Moriarty, a man that Sherlock both loves and despises. Well, the game is afoot, after all. Just not in the way Sherlock had ever imagined.

Summary
James Moriarty has found himself a permanent home at Appleton Manor. He and Sherlock are closer than ever before and have started solving crimes together again, attached to the metaphorical hip like nothing had changed in the first place. They eat breakfast and dinner together, finish each other's sentences, and press against each other whenever they're in the same vicinity. It's the same way it was before, but now they kiss, hold hands, sit in each other's laps, sleep in the same bed together, and James calls Sherlock pet names whenever he can, which is all the time. He keeps waiting for the shoe to drop. It hasn't. Yet.

Summary
James Moriarty stole Sherlock Holmes's handkerchief, stuffed it in the breast pocket of his tailored suit, and hid it away like a common criminal. He clings to it as his only semblance of comfort. He slowly starts to sleep and eat less, hallucinate more, and drink his fill of whisky every day, until he can forget the pain of breaking Sherlock's heart.
He swore he would never fall in love. Love was for the weak, the foolish people who surrounded James's superior intellect, but his heart did not seem to get the memo. It did, after all, only beat in tune to Sherlock's own.
a.k.a. James and Sherlock don't speak for over six weeks, after their big fight, and they make it everybody else's problem.

James Moriarty would admit to anyone that he’s calculated, a bit cruel, smart as a whip, and charismatic to boot. But obsessive? He’s not obsessed, and he certainly is not obsessed with the infinitely infuriating Sherlock Holmes. He only wants that key after all. There’s just one problem: Sherlock wants nothing to do with him.

Sherlock rolls his eyes. “Neither a princess nor ‘ours’, I think is the answer to that.”After his encounter with Xiao Wei on the balcony, Sherlock has no particular intention of interrogating his own ambivalent feelings. James, on the other hand, has every intention of doing it for him.

“You’re fond of him,” Xiao Wei says as they approach the doors of the Palace of Entertainment.
“You’ll have to clarify, I am fond of many,” James says as he opens the door for Xiao Wei. “After you, my dear princess,” he bows.
“It’s different with Sherlock, you cannot fool me James,” Xiao Wei states as she swishes on by, inside into the cooler lobby.
James’ grin twists a bit, going sharp as his eyes are going dark, eyes of a shark as Xiao Wei needlessly bleeds at a wound that shouldn't be touched. “Yes, yes, it is different with him. I tend to keep it that way.”

Or maybe Sherlock getting shot in front of James fucks him up more than he thought it would and it becomes everyone's Problem and doesn't entirely change the course of things, but dramatically changes their entire relationship.
