“Hey!” Charlie shouts as he approaches his car. Nick springs up from where he was leaning against the driver-side door. When Nick stands to his full height, Charlie is annoyed at the way he has to look up to meet his eyes. Despite that, he pokes a finger into Nick’s chest. “What the hell are you doing?”
Nick smirks and puts his hands up in front of him in fake innocence. Nick has one of those sweet boy faces, a face so innocent that no one would ever expect what a jerk he is. Well, he’s a jerk to Charlie, but apparently, everyone else at their uni couldn’t get enough of him. He has a lopsided smile that only ever turned to a smirk when directed at Charlie, which makes it all that much more infuriating.
