When Piers instinctively threw a leg around Jake’s trying to pull him closer, Jake’s reaction was instantaneous. He grabbed a hold of Piers’ ass, hauling him up with so little effort it was ridiculous. The display of strength went straight to Piers’ dick, and he broke the kiss with the low groan that pushed its way free. “Fucking hell,” he muttered, wrapping his legs around Jake’s hips. Not that he seemed to need any help with holding him up… “I keep forgetting you have freaky super strength.”
The word choice made Jake chuckle, even if he was a tad breathless. He scraped his teeth over Piers’ neck, biting down hard in the junction where it met his shoulder. “You’ve seen nothing yet,” he said, pressing his face against Piers’ neck so when he spoke his hot breath hit his skin.

Summary
Birthday parties could sometimes be overwhelming, but when Piers sought out a moment of reprieve in the bathroom, he certainly didn’t expect it to turn out this way. (Aka: Best. Birthday present. Ever.) Then again, months later, he’s somehow tumbled into a relationship that might be the best thing that ever happened to him. Not that he’d dare to say that out loud, not with everything so tentative and new. Doesn’t mean he can’t hope so.
Meanwhile Leon doesn’t really do relationships. Not because he doesn’t want to, but because he always seems to be so bad at them. Of course entirely by accident he manages to build one without even realizing it.

His heart still beating madly from the surge of adrenaline Piers turned to look at the man he’d just saved. “You okay?” He asked, but then their gazes met.
Those eyes.
He knew those eyes. A strange unease settled into Piers’ gut, as his brain tried to piece things together, but he didn’t get very far before he was awarded a shaky smile.
“Yeah. Thank you. For that.” The man smiled a little bit wider, breathing a sigh of relief, something a little hysterical in his voice that showed how keenly he was aware of how close to death he’d just gotten. “You have no idea how glad I am to find another human being in here! I’m Leon,” he said, offering his hand, “Leon Kennedy.”
And Piers felt like the floor opened up underneath him.
