It was October of 1987.
October of 1987 and Perseus Jackson was giving up.
He had been lost for a long time now, roaming through the States without a real purpose, when he realised that it was all pointless.
He had no friends, no family, not even a home to return to. No mother to receive him with open eyes and tears in her eyes, not anymore. Percy Jackson, of 13 years old, realised that he had nothing to stay alive for.
When everything seemed so dark that he thought he would simply disappear, without anyone to remember him, a glimpse of light he saw. The light of life. His prayers had been heard.
He saw two kids, just like him, just as dirty and lost, and in them he found friends. In them he found a family. In them, he found a reason to fight for.
And in them he found a reason to live.
Oh, what would be of him without Nico and Bianca di Angelo?
This won't be as sweet as it seems. This is a life story; and the life of Perseus Jackson is a tale of betrayal, addiction, sickness and grief; but also of love and friendship. In this story, we'll follow him through his time on the run and through his pursuit of happiness with the people he loves.
