It all started out a few months ago when she accepted an invitation for coffee, in an attempt to know him better. Soon she found herself spending time with Luke outside of work more often than she would like to admit. She refused to believe they were dates, and he was still trying to figure out what it was but he knew what he wanted them to be.
One thing she was clear about: they weren’t telling anyone about it. So no one knew that Penelope Garcia and Luke Alvez spent almost every weekend together, when the team wasn’t on a case. -

Grief, by definition was “a very great sadness experienced after a significant loss, usually the death of a beloved person”, Ted was not dead, thankfully, Rebecca reminded herself of that, right after leaving the airport and the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that.
Still, Rebecca went through all five stages of grief after Ted left, navigating life without someone who had become a crucial part of her life. -
