“You shouldn’t walk alone at night, Blank,” Eros said, grinning as he fell in step beside them. “Not that I think anyone could actually hurt you. More like… I don’t like the idea of someone else getting too close.”
Blank didn’t answer immediately. They rarely did. Eros had grown used to the pauses, the way Blank processed things in silence before deeming a response necessary.

Black Hole thinks Fanny walked off somewhere, but he feels the side-eye she gives him. It doesn’t matter.
His eyes drift back down to Tree’s body, limp in his hands. His veil and tears flow behind him as his vision continues to blur with stars. Is this what guilt feels like?
He can’t help but realize now that it truly is his fault, isn’t it?
