Summary
Whenever Clive imagined meeting his soulmate, he had always pictured following his heart across the Rosarian plains until it led him to the person that was fated to know and understand him in his entirety yet not turn away in scorn. It was one of the few comforts he could cling to in the face of rumors circling that maybe he didn’t have a soulmate at all. The Phoenix had rejected him, so it wasn’t a stretch to claim that destiny itself had as well. One day he would find them. He knew he would.
Dion had long since given up on the idea of soulmates. More specifically, the idea that he would ever meet his. Finding one’s soulmate was difficult, and chance encounters between them were rare, so he knew that realistically it wouldn’t be something that he could partake in.
As they grew older, and as their lives began to change, responsibilities and hardships kept their attention away from the idea of a soulmate. Bahamut had wars to win, and Cid the Outlaw had crystals to crack.
Neither of them were prepared for Twinside.

Summary
Bahamut remembered.
He remembered twining his tail with one that was as warm as a human hearth. He remembered the feeling of feathers brushing against the inside of his wings. He remembered gently knocking his horns against those of his beloved.
He remembered when their world fell apart, when he was sent to watch over humanity while awaiting his beloved's return to him. For that was the signal that things would soon go back to the way they were.
So Bahamut waited.
Thousands of years later Dion Lesage locked eyes with the Marquess of Rosaria.
All at once, Dion remembered.

But why would he care, if he has a chance to see Yuu again?
[BEING REWRITTEN. ON HIATUS UNTIL THEN]
