easily the best thing ive read on the whole site, simply because the writing style is so tragic, you can almost feel every word cut through you and each part of it has such amazing depth, its such a good insight into the two characters and esp kdjs monologue as we know him to be a very closed off person who also lies to himself at times so this is just perfect representation and they're so so so sad and tragic like just let the two of them hug pls

Summary
In the year after the Great War, Kim Dokja waits for a man who never comes home.
Rain. Lilies. Daughters. Water under the bridge...
And a letter in the pocket of a dead soldier's uniform.
This is a tragic story about love that survives everything except time, the weight of what-ifs, and the unbearable choice between living on or catching up with those we've lost.

Summary
"Home," Yoo Mia admits later, when they're shuffling out of their shoes.
Yoo Joonghyuk frowns, confused.
Then Yoo Mia shakes her head as if determined, swivels up towards him, and says with conviction, "The teacher told us to draw 'Home'."
Something clicks into place. This is the exact point in time when Yoo Joonghyuk starts to understand everything a bit better.
Or: Siblinghood.

Summary
From the very beginning, Kim Dokja knew it was a bad idea.
Stumbling through the halls of the Industrial Complex, desperate hands grasping at each other's clothes, Kim Dokja told himself that over and over again, no matter how meaningless the words were.
When Yoo Joonghyuk kissed him, it reminded him of chemistry lessons in school, years ago, when if the right two elements were put together, they’d explode.
Yoo Joonghyuk tries to get Kim Dokja to stop running away in the only way he knows how to.
