Summary
Now it seems Eiji’s always searching for Ash. He’d felt the absence in the house between the noise of all the others, saw the sun burning down into the reddening light leaking through the gap in the curtains, and so he’d slipped out the door to find Ash standing in the distance. The shape of his back the only thing breaking up the golden expanse of sky. Always searching. Mm, Eiji thinks. It’s like that. And Japan feels a lifetime away when he considers having never known Ash.

Summary
This is a Banana Fish "Fix-It" series I started writing after watching the anime and reading the manga in 2018, and continued during the first lock-down. It has been a years long ongoing project of mine that kind of rook over my life, but I never ment to share but now, after some encouragement, I decided I would. Hihi.
It will start with the prologue, this is the story I wrote in 2018, explaining how Ash survived being stabbed by Lao.
Followed by "interlude" short stories that will be about the road from Post-Canon to Ash and Eiji building a life together in Japan.
And then followed by my 50+ chapter monster project that will put Ash and Eiji into Tokyo underground, Hangure networks and a whole bunch of new things grounded in modern Tokyo :) that one is actually already over 400.000 words, but still a WIP rather then a finished story...When I eventually post them, all of them could also be read completely on their own, so there is no need to read the full series if only a certain part grabs your attention.

He hadn’t wanted to go back to the States, but, well. Max and Jessica are getting remarried, and Max had asked Ibe to be his best man, and Ibe had asked Eiji to be his plus-one and to help with the wedding photography, and…
And now they’re on a plane, heading to Los Angeles.
