"Shit happens," Bakugo gives back, clearly entirely unaffected by Hitoshi's desperate need and not even praying for more patience is going to save this situation.
"Yeah, it definitely will if you don't move," he growls out and Bakugo sends him an insufferable little smirk over his shoulder.
"Make me," he taunts him and Hitoshi freezes up, for just a second, the thought of using his quirk on Bakugo to make him step over more tempting than anything has ever been in life but then Hitoshi remembers himself.
He doesn't need his quirk to get to where he needs to be, not anymore. He regularly hauls himself up into the air, and sometimes does the same to Aizawa when he practices capture manoeuvres. He has this covered.

"You leaving?" Katsuki finally asks, even though it's obvious, even though it's always what Hitoshi does and it makes him still, for just a moment.
Hitoshi knows that what they have is more than just casual sex—there are too many feelings on both their sides for that to still be true but he can't stay.
Because if he stays then Katsuki can tell him to leave and Hitoshi couldn't take it. So he leaves first, like he always does.

Hitoshi spins around in the empty apartment and he can hardly believe it. It's his. It's theirs, because Katsuki loves him enough to move in with him and isn't that just mind-blowing.
To think that Hitoshi would get this lucky in life—he certainly wouldn't have thought so ten years ago when his life was shit and he was convinced that no one could ever love him.
And then Aizawa happened and the hero course happened and suddenly Hitoshi had parents who loved him and friends who adored him and then somehow even more inexplicitly than everything else he also had a boyfriend.
A boyfriend he was now moving in with because they loved each other and wanted to do that.
Crazy.

"What the fuck," the villain mutters, apparently still stuck on the splattered corpse and after a moment he turns murderous eyes to Katsuki.
"This is your fault," he hisses, reaching out to wrap his hand around Katsuki's throat and tilting his head up even as he squeezes. "You did this."
"Didn't do shit," Katsuki rasps out, his voice accompanied by the screaming and abrupt silence that means someone else just died and Katsuki wonders who it is that came to his rescue.
His squad is more flashy than that, and Deku would have slammed right in while still making sure that no one dies and even Shinsou—as absurd as it is to think he came for his rescue—makes sure to never kill anyone.

Summary
Hitoshi wakes up slowly. He gives himself a minute to revel in the warmth and the comfortable mattress and the silky sheets before he opens his eyes because he doesn't get to enjoy luxury like that often.
Just like he expected, he's alone in bed, because Katsuki never spends a second more than absolutely necessary in there and sometimes Hitoshi wonders why he even bothered to put so much money into the bed when he doesn't even enjoy it.
He's not about so ask though, because then Katsuki might realise that Hitoshi spends way too much time in his bed and that would only lead to him being kicked out and that is something Hitoshi very desperately doesn't want.
He knows it's pathetic, the way he clings to this—fling he has with Katsuki, but it's all Hitoshi has wanted for a while.
