Summary

At 35 years old and after a string of failed relationships, Sylvie decides to have a baby on her own. It all goes as planned, until she meets Loki. He’s annoying, but also quite perfect. He also doesn’t know that she’s pregnant, and there’s no way he would want anything to do with her under these circumstances.

Loki stroked the baby’s hair; Baard, amusingly, clucked a bit in his sleep. “Well. You’re back now,” he said to Sylvie. “Are you sure you want to do this? You’ve never seemed like the, ah… traditional type.”
“I’m not. But…” She stared out at the grassy hills, the snow-capped mountains, the fields covered in wildflowers and bounding with prehistoric steeds and tiny proto-dragons. “I can’t explain it. When you told me about this ritual, I just knew… I knew I had to come to Asgard and do it. I had to come home.”
Loki and Sylvie travel to prehistoric Asgard with their baby to complete a traditional Asgardian ritual for new parents.
