or: The heart grows fonder when apart. Years after they've parted ways as roommates, grown more independent and busy with their respective lives and schedules, Hyunjin is still hopelessly longing.

The ghost of Changbin’s past comes to haunt him on March 24, in the chilly composition room where he had passed out halfway through writing enough lyrics to make up an entire mini-album five minutes ago.
“Don’t exaggerate,” ghost-Seungmin tells him. “I’m not dead. But you could call me just to make sure.”
or: Long-distance relationships are hard. Changbin likes to think he’s good at ignoring this fact, only ignoring the problem means ignoring why it’s a problem in the first place. Seungmin is definitely not helping things, and he’s not even here.

Felix laughs, much to Hyunjin's shock. “Yeah, they’re really into it, you know?” he says. “All that shipping stuff. Fan culture.”
Hyunjin knows about that. A bit. Ship is short for relationships. It’s a sort of thing that fans do when they see two members act a certain way that reminds them of a couple. They “ship” members because they look like they could be in a relationship. Hyunjin gets it only because of all the dramas he watches and he does it too, mourning relationships of the characters that don’t come to be and rejoicing for the ones that do, and this, what the fans are doing — it’s basically the same thing, except with real people instead of fictional ones.
It’s not a big deal, technically speaking. But—
“They’re talking about us,” Hyunjin points out. “‘Shipping’ us two specifically, with Changbin-hyung.”
or: Shipping ruins relationships. This isn't something Hyunjin realizes until Changbin joins We Got Married.
