Summary
“So what was he like back then?”
The question should have been simple.
Instead it felt impossible.
Because Yuji and Nobara were asking about Gojo Satoru. The strongest sorcerer.
Their teacher.
The legend everyone talked about. But that wasn’t who appeared in Megumi’s head. What appeared instead was-
The man who brought him terrible souvenirs from evey single worktrip.
The man who had showen up to every birthday, even when noone else ever cared.
The man who stole food off his plate and acted offended when Megumi complained.
.. who knew exactly how he took his coffee.
.. who trained with him, argued with him and still stayed despite everything. Not a legend.
A person.
A constant presence in a life that had never been particularly full of those. And somehow that made everything worse.

Summary
“Oi,” he snapped. “Tomioka.”
The room stilled—not silent, but attentive. Sanemi’s eyes locked on Giyuu’s bandaged arm.
“You gonna tell us why your sleeve’s bled through,” Sanemi growled, “or do you want me to guess?”
Giyuu met his gaze. Calm. Controlled. A few of the other Hashira glanced over, not surprising—Sanemi’s confrontations were rarely quiet.
Giyuu straightened. “I was careless,” he answered simply. Methodically.
Sanemi scoffed. “Careless? You?” He took a step forward, closing the distance between them with that sharp, storm-like presence of his.
“You’re annoyingly precise to a fault. You don’t just get ‘careless.’ So try again.”He reached out—not touching Giyuu, but close enough that the warmth of his hand brushed through the air between them. Too close. Giyuu’s breath caught, his pulse tripping over itself, his skin tightening with a prickling awareness.
An omega’s awareness.

Summary
After Rengoku's death, the Hashira are fractured—some with grief, some with rage, and some with secrets they can no longer afford to keep.
Giyuu Tomioka patrols the forests surrounding the Mugen Train, carrying the quiet storm of loss with him, unaware that one night will challenge everything he thought he knew. An encounter with a presence both terrifying and revealing pushes him to the edge of control, leaving his instincts in disarray and his body carrying truths he refuses to acknowledge.Sanemi Shinazugawa feels the shift too—unwelcome and feral—an Alpha’s pull toward the Omega he’s spent years resenting. As tension spreads through the Corps, pheromones tighten into knots of fear, longing, and something dangerously close to fate.
Some demons hunt from the shadows. Others awaken in the space between two hearts.
