The tight metal bands screwed in place around a bit of fat on the chest, making the wearer’s tit bulge out in a tight package. The wrist of each hand was threaded through a leather loop hanging on the side and tightened into place, effectively binding the hands close to each side of the wearer’s chest.
The hands naturally cupped the squeezed flesh, providing a bit of privacy for those who didn’t want to expose their nipples. The fingers could be rearranged in numerous different styles, even adjusted throughout the day if your mood changed.
It was the hottest look at the moment, and dozens of employees at Thomas’s workplace had taken up the topless look, him included.

Daenerys took a breath, and asked the question that had plagued her ever since leaving King’s Landing. “Your brother, the king, only lost his betrothed, and he hates me. Eddard Stark lost over half his family because of mine, and yet he will welcome me as his kin?” Her voice rose at the last, as she was no longer able to hide her disbelief, her fear.
“Ned Stark is a man of honor,” Stannis said. “He has no interest in avenging his family by tormenting you.” Unlike the king, neither of them said aloud.

Summary
It is not as if he enjoys watching Lannister in his chains, beard growing in scruff around his neck, shackled and unshackled and caged whenever they make camp. Perhaps, being honest, he would enjoy it more if he got some sense of shame from the man – the sense that he truly had humbled this lion, avenged his father and brother, if only in the pettiest of ways. But no. He senses annoyance from the man, but no matter how he's abused, no true humiliation. That bothers him.
