Summary
“But what about the two of you?” Art responds eagerly. It's a reasonable question to ask after the, yes, very cute – and also very embarrassing – story they just told you. Although now you’re even less sure that there’s a heterosexual explanation for them pushing those beds together like that.
You and Tashi look at each other, grinning a little. Finally, you say, “Um, yes?”
“Yes?”
“Yes, we've hooked up,” you admit, face going warm.
All three of them start talking at once.

Summary
Not even Seulgi can deny it after all, can’t deny the existence of dots she’s been quietly connecting the past few weeks in moments of quiet and heartbreak.
The crossed out dates on Jaeyi’s calendar. The confession about how lovely it must feel to be at the bottom of the ocean. The self-sabotaging of her grades during finals. The giving Jeyun away. The pushing Seulgi away.
Everything points to the fact that Jaeyi killed herself, and had been wanting to do it for a very, very long time.
Seulgi’s heart, the poor thing, breaks beyond repair.
“There was no body.” Seulgi says, like a rehearsed speech. “You can say whatever you want, but what you’re not going to do is tell me Yoo Jaeyi is dead. Unless I see her with my own two eyes, then Yoo Jaeyi is not dead.”
She’ll say it for however long it takes for her to believe it too.

Summary
“Keep talking and I'll die of boredom before you can ask me anything,” Calroy interrupts, tone balanced on the line between joking and rude. Amethar smiles, a bright guileless thing that looks much more at home on his face than his earlier wide-eyed nervousness, and his shoulders relax from where they'd begun to climb towards his ears.
“See, that’s how I know I'm making the right choice. Cal, will you be my aide-de-camp?”
A smile spreads across Calroy's face, sharp like the dagger he keeps tucked in his boot. “Amethar,” He says, as sweet as the sugar beneath their feet, “It would be my honor.”
