Summary
It’s a matter of time. Before Elias gets angry again. Before he stops being sweet and touching him gently, before Jon is stuck cleaning his own blood off the floor again. Or maybe the lack of food will finally get him delicate and weak enough that Jon won’t be able to break any rules.
It’s all punishing, all meant to put Jon back where he belongs. And Jon has not resisted much, because he thinks that this is just probably what he–unpleasant, irritable, obsessive–has to do to be loved.
But the cost is so very steep.
