Summary
Joey remembers Pacey's birthday, and isn't quite as quick to forgive Dawson for reading her journal. Pacey and Joey share more than 3 scenes over the course of an entire season, and get the itch to do some adventuring. Changes ensue.

Bookmarker's Notes
Joey and Pacey deep love and connection blossoms in this story as they work through the trauma of Joey being abducted
This story is so we'll written and teaches a lot about mental health, trauma, boundaries, etc
Gives you great character development for Doug too!
Another favorite AU

Summary
Canon-divergent fic starting from season 1, episode 13 "Decisions".
When Joey decides to try again to visit her father in prison, she enlists Pacey's help to drive her out there in the middle of the night. But after Pacey's attempt to bribe the prison guard doesn't work, they decide to spend the night in a motel together - just like she had the night before, with Dawson. Only *this* night could end up going very differently, because Joey still remembers how Pacey kissed her outside her house after the carnival, and how it made her feel alive...
A Pacey/Joey story.

Bookmarker's Notes
Joey and Pacey get together in season 1. Joey goes to Paris and the characters growth feels more true to their journeys!
The character voices and banter in this AU is perfection. A great slow burn!

Bookmarker's Notes
One of my all-time favorite AU's!
***WARNING*** You will literally cry your eyes out for the first 7 chapters followed by a light dusting of tears in the 6 chapters after. Then after 1 tear-free chapter, you get socked in the gut with more weeping. 1 chapter of them happy on a boat, and then on and off tears until the end.***<3

Summary
A sequel to 'Sparks Fly' - a Pacey/Joey AU where they met for the first time as adults (25yo). You should definitely read that one first for context.
