“Making sure you don’t get sicker.” Mathias stated, half joking. “I don’t need your help. I can sleep it off.” Lukas responded quietly, burying himself back into the blankets.
Mathias sighed at the other’s stubbornness. “Is there anything I can do to help?” He asked after a moment of silence.
The room stayed silent for a few moments more until the blankets rustled slightly. Mathias looked up from where his gaze had been on the floor, eagerly waiting for any kind of response.
“I’m kind of cold…and hungry.” Lukas finally answered, curling further in on himself. Mathias immediately perked up at the request, grateful that Lukas was finally swallowing his pride and actually letting someone do something for him for once.
