Last summer, Adam Parrish started working at The Night Owl, running the closing shift of a cafe that pays too much and stays open too late. Last autumn, some asshole walked in and accidently changed Adam's life.

Summary
Everybody knows that Ronan loves Adam. Ronan knows he loves Adam, and he’s pretty sure that Adam knows that he’s loved, too. But they’ve never said the words. They have other words, sure, just not that one, specific, stupidly important, word.
Instead of ‘I love you’, they say:
“Call me when you get home.”
“Eat, you dumbass.”
“I changed your oil.”
“I dreamt of you last night.”
“Tamquam,” “alter idem.”
Still, the ‘L’ word. The string of three words that mean so much and nothing to them at the same time, hasn’t been said. They don’t need to say it, either. But Ronan, ever stubborn and determined, needs to say it.
