Summary
After Maomao serves as a medical attendant at the birth of Basen and Lishu's baby, a shift begins to happen inside of her that changes how she feels about herself as a woman, and about Jinshi as a man. Meanwhile, the prince remains far away and blissfully unaware that his cat is in heat and the emperor, due to an error in understanding, believes that Maomao is already pregnant and decides the right thing for him to do is to reveal this information to the head of the La clan so they might quietly find a way to cover for an unplanned pregnancy that doesn't exist.

Summary
When Inko dies in a trainwreck while protecting Izuku from the impact, Izuku discovers he had a quirk all along. The ability to inherit the quirks of people that die is, to say the least, problematic. It sends Izuku on a much different track that he ever imagined his life taking, but will hopefully end up exactly where he needs to be.

Summary
Caught up in these thoughts, with the System breathing down his neck, Shen Qingqiu does not properly assess the situation as he should.
Perhaps the biggest mistake Shen Qingqiu makes in this moment is not his confidence in Luo Binghe’s abilities nor the potential ripple effects of the changed situation surrounding his broken seal: it’s that he doesn’t think to be cautious of Luo Binghe.
Shen Qingqiu, in his years in this role, has never harmed Luo Binghe. He hasn’t betrayed Luo Binghe yet. Shen Qingqiu has become far too accustomed to their easy, fond companionship. He forgets, in this moment, the way qi balance shifting wildly out of equilibrium can make people behave in unexpected, unpredictable, often violent ways.
Even toward those they love.
or: Shen Qingqiu makes a potentially catastrophic error at the Immortal Alliance Conference. One that changes everything...yet not what Shen Qingqiu cares about most.

Summary
This wasn’t the first time they had heard Zhangmen-shixiong accidentally call him 'Xiao Jiu', an affectionate nickname completely inappropriate for someone as harsh and unfriendly as Shen Qingqiu.
But it was the first time they’d seen their Sect Leader looking so... lost.
On his usually affable and composed face, they could see a raw vulnerability that no one would ever have associated with the man who, aged just twenty, had fought against Tianlang-Jun. The most powerful cultivator of their generation — the man who never needed to draw his sword to win — had fallen to his knees before a rude child who, in body and mind, was not even his Shidi at that moment.

A peculiar artefact has arrived at Cang Qiong Mountain. A mirror that reveals the happiest memory of whoever looks in it.
Qi Qingqi intends to use it to expose Shen Qingqiu's depravity. But nothing goes as expected.Bookmarked by eaflower123
