Now, Aventurine presses his forehead between Veritas' shoulder blades and takes a deep breath. The plates make a soft clacking sound as Veritas sets them down on the counter. "Is there an occasion?" he asks, carefully neutral.
"Am I not allowed to lean on you?" Aventurine doesn't move away.
"I would like it if you leaned on me more."

There’s a funny expression on Ratio’s face, surprised and eager, all at once. “If you’re not especially familiar with your pleasure,” he says, “let us change that.”
