Her brother was surprisingly sentimental when it came to people he cared about (which were no more than a handful), for someone who was raised to be pretty pragmatic. "Still, I think we will be fine as long as we are together."
"Because we are anchor twins?" Qara jeered. But Chaghan was serious.
"Because it's you and me against the world."

The meager audience falls silent, and it makes the crowd seem even smaller than it is. Yoshida. Denji doesn’t recognize the name; it’s somewhat surprising, considering that between the three Hayakawas, it sometimes feels like they’ve come into contact with every single person on this campus at least once. He flips through the file cabinet of his brain, tries desperately to yank out a document with a face or a major or any sort of information attached to it, but he comes up empty.
When Yoshida comes on the stage, all shaggy black hair and edgy piercings, dark eyes and teasing smirk, Denji realizes that he truly doesn’t know him after all. But immediately, he wants to.
He really, really wants to.
When Denji gets dragged to a student open mic night at the university, the last thing he expects is to fall for the tall, handsome guitar player onstage. He admires Yoshida from afar until eventually, his fanboy crush is elevated to something more.
