Summary
Only three knives are stuck into the big settee, but the many rips and tears in its lovely brocade indicate quite a few previous stabbings. Stede sighs again as he lifts it up from its back onto all four legs, then pulls the third knife out of the center of the cushion. He pats the spot where the stuffing bursts out from the torn upholstery.
Stede finds things torn open and damaged, and does his best to fix them up. The couch or Ed's heart? Yes.

“You can’t actually read my thoughts, can you?” he says.
She gives a little tilt of her head. “You got me there.” If she were a suspect, he’d say that she’s got the tells, the body language of a guilty suspect. Maybe not this crime, but some crime. “Not exactly the kind of brain I’m used to.”
He harrumphs. It feels like catching Quark at whatever stupid scheme he’s gotten into.
The end of the Lwaxana and Odo part of The Muse if the writers hadn't been cowards.

The big wave surfing AU that I probably won't actually write all the way, but this is a meet-cute wherein Stede learned how to surf on a wave pool in Arizona and then came to Hawaii to surf, but as always things did not go as planned.

Summary
There’s a mark. And if you have the mark, well, that means there’s someone out there that has it too. Not everybody has it, and there’s a lot of stories about what it means: particular gift, isn’t it, to know there has to be someone who is drawn to you, bound to you, you need them and they need you?
But his mum had the mark, and his dad had the mark, and well.
In which having a soulmate isn't necessarily a good thing, and the distinction between fate, grace, and love.

Summary
Later, much later, Stede realizes he can divide his life into two parts, split by that exact moment: when by all rights he should have been dead, gut-stabbed and strung up, and instead the most beautiful man he’d ever seen strolled up to him through fire and smoke and men screaming.

Re-telling of the story as Stede grapples with his (unknown even to him) feelings for one Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard.

Summary
However Ed prefers his facial hair, it’s Ed’s right to do as he pleases.
But Stede never did get to run his fingers through those curls, and as much as he likes playing with Ed’s hair — and lord above does he like Ed’s hair, loves the noises Ed makes when he grabs a whole handful of long curls — but that’s one thing, the beard is a different thing, or was a different thing. And he never did get to, which maybe that’s on him, but still. He would have liked to have kissed him with the beard. That's all.
But it's not his choice, is it? And he'd never breathe a word of it to Ed.
Except.

Summary
Another imagining of the reunion of all The Revenge’s pairs of lovers; in which: Stede and the marooned crew make a deal with the crew of The Queen Anne’s Revenge, Jim is being held as part of a bargain struck before everything changed, Lucius lives in the walls, and Ed is having a rough time going back to work.
/
Or: I just needed to know what happened to the Hot Topic Boat, and why Jim was under guard, and things got out of hand from there. Characters, tags (and ratings) updated as I go. Chapter count is a rough estimate/minimum to start with. Updates weekends.

Summary
One of their first raids, below decks, he finds a small dour man leaning against a crate. An older guy, dark hair slicked back but it falls into his face as he talks. Clean shaven, like a Navy guy, and with the stick up his ass bearing of one, too.
"Pirates, then?" he says with a voice like an iron rasp.
Ed grins. "That's Blackbeard to you, dog."
