Summary
“Don’t look at your hands,” Andrew says. “Look at me.”
“I am,” Neil tells him because he is. Then, almost as an afterthought that just happens to slip past his lips like a secret, like red-stained hangnails dripping through his teeth, he tells Andrew, “It’s not even that bad this time.”
“You’re hurting yourself,” Andrew says as if it were really that simple. He isn’t looking at him when he says, something of retrospection, “It’s bad every time.”
Or biting his nails off is just something Neil does.

Summary
“You guys are so cute.”
Neil matches Andrew’s frown. Neither of them appreciate that particular adjective.
“I’m surprised the monster hasn’t bitten his hand off yet,” Allison whispers.
“Don’t call him that,” Neil snaps. Andrew’s current state has him feeling defensive.A migraine causes Andrew to let down some walls in front of the team. Neil takes a wrecking ball to the rest of them with his big mouth.

Summary
“Good morning,” Neil whispers, slipping into bed. The whisper is really unnecessary. Kevin doesn’t even stir at the sound of his voice. Neil leans closer. He kisses along Kevin’s shoulder, noses the hair above his ear, leans his mouth close. “Good morning!”
Kevin jolts awake. Neil isn't quick enough to avoid getting headbutt in the face, but that is his karma for shouting in Kevin’s ear to wake him up. He flops back onto the pillow beside him, swearing through laughter as he rubs at his aching nose.
“Fuck you,” Kevin grumbles, limbs thrashing as he tries to roll towards Neil and gets caught in the blankets. After a brief bout of wrestling with their duvet, his hands come to Neil’s face, their gentleness as they feel for any injury a contrast to the sharp tone of his voice. “You’re such a fucking dick.”
“Oh Kevin, talk dirty to me.”
