Summary
Normally, Ric would (still) be furious. Since he woke up as a full grown adult sans memories, his mood swings have been extreme and usually leaning towards anger.
But, this stranger is either a clinically insane weirdo who breaks into other people’s homes to steal their bowls, or this stranger is someone who knew the old him and decided the perfect first impression on his amnesiac acquaintance is to be an ass and then spill milk down his chin and use his bare fingers to scoop out the last few cinnamon toast crunch pieces before pouring another bowl.
Sue him. His curiosity can apparently reach higher than his more-often-than-not pissed off nature.
“So,” the brat says after slurping the last of his second bowl unattractively, “What have you been up to? Heard you’re going by Ric these days. That’s cool I guess.” He continues nonchalantly like this isn’t one of the weirdest things that’s happened to Ric (from what he remembers of course).

“What are you doing?” The man cuts himself off whatever he was saying about how ‘being a hero is dangerous’ and how a ‘quirkless person could do other things like be a cop!’ or some other nonsense Izuku didn’t hear.
The green haired boy drops his bright yellow All Might Themed book bag on the concrete roof.
The thud seems to unsettle All Might. Or maybe something else does.
Izuku’s actions? His blank stare? His empty huff?
Who knows. Who cares?
Izuku looks up at his idol with squinted eyes and furrowed brows as he takes his jacket off, folds it, and places it on his lined up shoes. He looks at the shoes, the ledge, the man in front of him, and explains a little condescendingly because well, it seems pretty obvious-
“I’m going to jump off the ledge now.”

Summary
Another day. Another tragedy. Another battle won only because Red Hood decided his life was worth less than the hostages.
Another heart-stopping moment for Tim, as he waited with broken breath for fate to decide if the man he loves would breathe another day.
When he goes through the window, Tim doesn’t speak. He just stares and stares. Jason doesn’t look upset by his actions, but his confusion isn’t hidden, before it’s carefully lessened as Tim finally manages to walk towards him.
“Stay with me, Tim.” Jason croons, tired but enthralling even as he lies in the bed meant for cleanliness and sanitation, with an IV hooked up to the inner side of his arm.
Tim hesitates, but only for a moment, and then cradles the older man’s face with gentle hands. The warmth feels like it will be imprinted in his memory until the end of time, but Tim knows it'll fade much sooner.

Tim hums to himself. She matches the tone.
Her soft strawberry blond hair is curly as it falls into both of their faces.
“Okay. And what’s your full name, sweetheart?” He says with complete calm as the others stare at him in relief (goon), suspicion (working girls), ignorance (cat), and ambivalent amusement (Cass).
“Pen-el-o-pee Catherine Dana Drake,” she says with the confidence of a four year old who practiced with all her heart.
Tim blinks. Cass blinks. The other’s blink as they double take and finally notice who Tim and Cass are.
Tim nods like that makes sense, before looking up, “Yes. So, you said you found Penny here after she fell from a portal?” He raises his eyebrows.

I chose to be an Alley kid because being here, being with you is what I want to do.” She stares at him with her big intense eyes as he snaps back into the present. “But if certain people found out about who I was before I came here, then I'd have a lot of people after me. I don't mind having fun with you and the others, but I don't like adults and I don't like running. So I need you to let me find you. Can you promise that?"
They both know he’d promise her anything, just as she’d do the same.
His lips thin as he bites his cheek before he gently rests his hand on her cheek. "James, of course I promise. But I want you to promise that you'll keep finding me no matter what. And that when we're both eighteen, you'll find me one last time and we'll get married and we'll figure it out together, yeah?"
When he looks Batman in the eyes with a tire iron in his hand a few weeks later, he takes the tiniest of moments to look behind him to see dyed blonde hair and big blue eyes peak around the corner with a thumbs up and remembers an echo of previously spoken words.
"I’ll always find you. I promise, Jay."

Klaus chuckles. “Yeah, you turned bright red and popped a boner when you saw a model in lingerie. It was adorable.”
Ben keeps from rolling his eyes when he realizes he can use that as an entry route.
“Yes… right. Right. I got a boner and now…” He swallows. “Now I don’t know what to do with it. Can you show me, Klaus?” Ben chews on his bottom lip and blinks innocently.
Klaus’ mouth falls open slightly. “…I—sure, Ben,” he replies.
Ben nods and draws his shoulders up to look more timid.
“Thanks, Klaus. I just… Dad told me he knows about what we did during our training session last week. He won’t find out about this, will he?”
Klaus’ jaw drops a little further before snapping shut, and he finally seems to realize what Ben’s trying to do.
