It was the power that first made Eric Northman want the human. The fact that they were soulmates was just an added bonus.
Watching Eric Northman strut towards him in Fangtasia certainly made an impression, that much Harry was certain.
Harry was the man who got Godric to finally drink blood again. Who finally got him to possibly look forward to the coming sun. Those emerald footprints were beautiful and were the exact same shade as the human man's eyes.

“He’s a hot Mummy,” Harry offered in bemusement.
“Is hot good or bad?” Imhotep whispered, arching an eyebrow as he peered down at Harry. His eyes were wide and Harry rather thought the man looked a fair bit…baffled.
“In this case…” Harry paused, glancing up at him, sucking in a deep breath and standing up. “It’s good.”
