    This person did not have legs. Below the waist, she shimmered green and silver and impossible, a long length of something scaled and strong trailing into the glow, fanning to hold her steady in the water. And Kyujin’s brain refused to even try identifying it.

    “What,” said Kyujin.

    “What yourself,” said the mermaid, and she snatched Kyujin's lunchbox off the dock, and was gone.

    Hybrid!AU where exists beside humanity are humanoids with animal features. Like we do with most things that aren't quite like us, we don't treat them very well.
    Jinsol is one of the few humans who try their hardest to look after the ones people have abused and thrown away, even if she's running on fumes trying.
    Yoona doesn't really think about them much, she especially doesn't want one, but when Jinsol dumps a traumatized dog hybrid into her lap, she finds that maybe she does want, a little too much perhaps.
    Jiwoo went from being beloved, to a burden, to unwanted. It's hard to keep it together when her whole life is up to the whims of others.
    Kyujin is born into wealth and power, she tries not to let it make her a monster. She doesn't always succeed.
