    Ben Organa-Solo (22, anxious) stupidly manages to fall for the frontman of his favourite local band, Armitage fucking Hux (26, asshole). Fixations are nothing new for Ben; he knows what kind of shit his brain likes to pull and how to handle it. At least being into The First Order gives him something to focus on. He just didn't expect to run into Armitage at a fucking charity dinner of all places, their politician parents pulling them together by accident. He especially didn't expect Armitage to show interest in him, or for that interest to quickly become a complete clusterfuck. Between Ben's shitty brain and Armitage's shitty father, he's not sure this is going to end well for either of them.

It’s not just that Kylo’s parents are okay with him being queer (though the vlogs of him and his mom are always hilarious, sound effects covering the single syllable of his real name as they give each other shit). It’s not just that Kylo is so sure of himself (though the aggressive confidence he has is inspiring). It’s not that he’s glamourous with his involved looks, or that he’s so outspoken against queerphobia, or that he’s fucking beautiful.

    It’s that Kylo is real and Armitage is not.

    Out of his hero-gear, Techno should look just as intimidating as when he’s in it. He’s still absolutely massive, built in such a way that he could crush someone’s skull with just one hand. The absence of a mask means nothing, either, not when it gives direct access to stoic eyes, or the scars and battle wounds that nick at Techno’s jaw and stretch down the side of his nose.

    Besides. Techno doesn’t need his costume to demand the obedience of the darkness.

    Tommy can’t be scared—not of this. Not when Techno’s hands are occupied with takeout bags, or when he’s wearing glasses low against his nose, or when his eyes meet Tommy’s and the corners of his mouth lift slightly. “Got takeout.”

    Tommy is living a double life: at home, he spends time with his...mentor? Techno. At night, he goes out as the vigilante Flare.

    It would be a lot easier if Techno wasn't the hero hunting him down. Oh—and if Techno didn't absolutely hate Flare.
