Summary
These photographs, thought to be taken on a Kodak Brownie, and sketches from photographic reference were found in one of the sketchbooks of Vasily Pavlichenko. It is unknown whether he took the photographs himself, or if they were taken by a friend or colleague, but given the high number featuring Pavlichenko himself it is likely they were taken by someone else.
— From the “Early Career” section of an exhibit on Vasily Pavlichenko’s work—
when ogata survives his suicide attempt, he’s ready to bleed out from the wound in his stomach. living beyond the next day isn’t part of his plan. neither is the russian sniper who insists on dragging him along wherever he goes.

Simon didn’t expect his savior to be exactly his type.
What a welcome sight. Even if this stupidly handsome man ends up being evil, or working for the C.O.I, at least he’d die looking at something good.

Summary
Shadow is ready to give up.
He's tired and after waking up from stasis for 50 years and saving the world, he wants nothing more than to lay himself to rest and see Maria again.
Except, he's immortal.
How annoying.
OR: (Shadow is still struggling to cope after the events of Sonic 3. He's taken in by a kind man who lives alone with his two children and his husband. Somehow, both things correlate to each other.)

Summary
When Lian ends up alone on the streets of Gotham, she doesn't end up with Catwoman and the Alleytown Kids. Instead, she ends up under the Red Hood's wing. But what happens when her dad finally tracks her down?
~
Shoes was helping herself to the parts of a motorcycle that was way too nice to be left unattended at night in this part of town. It was sure to be a decent pay out, until she heard the stupid robot voice call out from behind her, “You know, this is like some fucked-up, backwards deja vu for me.”
She tensed for a moment but didn’t bother turning to see the Red Hood there. At some point after the big bad crime boss started giving her tips on how to get away with stealing or offering her his fucking jacket in the cold, he started to lose his edge of intimidation. Instead she focused on removing the back tire of the bike and saying, “This is just some routine maintenance.”

Summary
How, exactly, do you tell the Justice League you weren’t a feral cryptid haunting Gotham?
That single, most ridiculous question had been gnawing at Bruce’s mind for the past week. He could let them believe it—he had certainly let worse rumors fester when it served his purposes—but he couldn’t. He just couldn’t.
or
The continuation of Unintentional Cryptid.
Bruce tries to clear up the small misunderstanding but every single time he interacts with the Justice League, it gets worse
