“What keeps you up at night?” Jon asked, tired eyes staring as the clock hit the four. Four in the morning, obviously, and as he held the phone closer to his cheek he knew he would regret it all the day after.
Fred had always had the healthiest sleep schedule, but lately things had been changing and Jonathan wasn't sure it was for the better. The silence on the other end of the line allowed Jon to take a deep breath, thinking that maybe Fred had finally fallen asleep as he desperately needed.
