Summary
(Even when I can't see it) - Brianna Albers
Jaime Lannister is still grinning that false grin at her. Berena stares at him, almost stricken, wishing he’d stop it, and his green eyes flicker like flames and then burn colder. “You can’t imagine how pleased I am to finally meet my bride.”
This is not directed at her, but at Ned. She’s not even worth the direct acknowledgement, apparently. This is between them. He loathes Ned- likely for calling for his head for treason and successfully stripping him of his position- and this is the best blow he can strike. You named me a Kingslayer, but it will be your little sister, your honorable flesh and blood, in my bed, Stark.
She can feel Ned tense, and unthinkingly, reaches back and grabs his arm without looking at him. “And I,” Berena lies sweetly, shrilly, and with eyes hard as stone, “am so pleased to finally meet my bridegroom, my lord. They speak of you and your valiant deeds from here to the Wall.”

Summary
"This is the song for Baby Birch / Though I will never know you. / And at the back of what we've done / There is the knowledge of you." - Joanna Newsom, 'Baby Birch.'
My babe was a daughter, she thinks. A little girl. I would have named her- I had thought… for a horrifying moment, she cannot even remember what she meant to call her own babe. Then she says, “Clarisse.” Ned Stark simply looks at her. Wylla shifts from foot to foot, the babe gurgling in her arms, her watchful almond eyes darting from Ashara to Stark and back again.
“We will call her Clarisse,” says Ashara. “Clarisse Sand. Do not believe this constitutes any- any sort of…” Sort of what? Forgiveness? Amity? “She will be my child,” she hisses. “Mine. You will have no claim, no say, never- Never come here again. When she is of age, then we will- her and I- we will discuss it. She will be a bastard of House Dayne. Not House Stark. Not yours. Do you understand? Otherwise, take her, and go where you will. Pray your new king accepts whatever halfhearted lie you come up with.”

Summary
When asked in the past by curious sons of what happens when a person dies, Baelor Targaryen sat them down and patiently explained that the Faith of the Seven teaches them that the righteous are blessed in the Seven Heavens as long as they lead a virtuous life and repent for any sin committed. He had never questioned it himself.
Falling to a blow by his brother's mace while defending what was right, even against his own family, Baelor should have been feasting in the Father's golden hall and waiting until the moment he would be reunited with his family. That did not happen.
Instead, the former Prince of Dragonstone woke up far from home and everyone he knew, though the faces he found himself among were not unfamiliar to him. But what does it mean to find yourself in the pages of your family's own history books?
