Summary
Instead of his gun jamming, Ashley (under Saddler’s control) successfully shot Leon, killing him. Leon should be dead — except he’s woken up chained to Luis again, back at the beginning of his mission.
Leon has been given a second chance (and many more, he would come to find out) to save Ashley and Luis. And he’d do whatever it takes to make sure they survive and escape from Valdelobos, no matter the cost.

Summary
The BSAA has recently implemented a new policy for small-scale outbreaks: instead of being terminated on sight, infected individuals are to be taken into custody to see if a cure can be devised to save them. Science and technology have come a long way, after all.
But when one of the first infected to be taken in at the BSAA North America Headquarters happens to be Leon S. Kennedy, however, that new policy doesn't end up being as straightforward as anyone anticipated. Especially for Chris Redfield.
Can be read as getting-together-romantic, 100% platonic, or whichever secret third option you desire! Because amatonormativity can suck a B.O.W. (Big Ol' Wiener). Rated Mature for heavy themes.

Consciousness comes back in a rush, a gasp escaping his lungs from the shock of icy water that splashes violently across his face. He flounders for a moment, spluttering on water before he can properly blink his eyes open. Krauser stands beside his bed, holding a rusty-looking bucket that drips water onto the hardwood floor, a rhythmic tapping sound. His face is a mask of displeasure.
"Get your ass out of bed, Rookie," he growls. "I don't care how many hours you like to sleep, training starts now. On the field in five."
