Summary
Inside the car, Hongjoong had curled into the back seat again, trying to minimize surface contact with the sweltering upholstery. He wasn’t sure if he’d dozed or passed out. Everything felt blurred. His head lolled to one side.
He thought about lyrics.
He thought about lemon drops — sharp and sweet and fake-colored. Like a mask.
He thought about how this scene in the MV was supposed to be symbolic.
He wasn’t actually supposed to be locked in.
His lips cracked as he whispered: “Someone… come find me…”OR:The one where Hongjoong gets himself locked in one of the prop cars on the Lemon Drop music video set on one of the hottest days of the year.

Summary
There, past smudged rows of people in black, stands Seonghwa, luminous and divine like he too is part of one of those gloomy paintings they dragged him to see once on tour, the light caressing its favorites gently.
For a moment too long, Hongjoong is stuck staring, no better than another star-struck onlooker, but he cherishes these disorienting pauses, getting to see Seonghwa for all he is and not only what Hongjoong knows him to be.
He’s beautiful, and Hongjoong wants him close.

Summary
Seonghwa always knew that his life was going to be hard. It was as plain for him to see as his own hands in front of him, but he wanted to try to live his life looking towards the sun.
His uncle made that hard. Whenever the stress of life became too much for him, his uncle would berate Seonghwa over it, blaming it on his father for bringing his mother into their lives, on him being too much like his mother. It always came back to his mother.
Because Seonghwa’s mother was a harpy.
When he was 12, his uncle had a debt to a pirate captain from a job that went very poorly because of him.
And Seonghwa was how he settled that debt. Seonghwa, to spare his uncle.
