    Summary

One delayed flight. One closing airport bar. One truth or dare game that gets significantly out of hand.
Ilya Rozanov came to his ex-girlfriend's wedding to prove he was over it. Shane Hollander came to his best friend's wedding to prove he was fine. They were both lying, but they didn't know that about each other yet.

Then they had to share a room.

    Summary

“You are braver than me, dude. You could not pay me to call some of my exes.”

Ilya shrugged. Truthfully, it was a stretch to call anybody on the list an ex. The only person he had been an official, labelled boyfriend to was Rob, and he wasn’t about to call Rob to ask where things went wrong.

“Wait, how are you going to talk to that one guy if you don't even know his name?” Cliff asked.

Fuck. Ilya should have taken his time to think of someone easier to put on the heartbreak list.

“Not sure. I will work on it,” Ilya scowled.

    ━━━━━━━━

When Ilya’s boyfriend Rob dumps him, he decides to reach out to his top five heartbreaks to figure out why he is so easy to leave.

Some people on the top five list are friends, some he hasn't spoken to in years. One man on the list proves hard to find, a one-night stand with beautiful freckles whose name Ilya never learned.

High Fidelity-ish AU. Ilya owns a record shop and figures his shit out post-breakup as he finds the person he's meant to fall in love with.

    Summary

It's a well-known fact that Shane Hollander is very good at hockey, not so much at people. Then comes Ilya Rozanov.
When his rival-turned-teammate invades his space and mocks his routine while following all his rules to the letter, Shane doesn't look too closely at what makes their partnership work. They share a team, a line, a hotel room on the road, and a winning streak that has the entire league foaming at the mouth.

Until Shane looks. Once. Briefly. Possibly close enough to ruin it.

Or: Shane and Ilya's first three seasons as Montreal's top line.

    Summary

Shane doesn’t know why he chose to move to Boston to join the Raiders after his hellish stint playing for the Metros. He had a long laundry list of reasons why Boston was the right fit for him: they were a legacy team, it was only a short plane ride away from his parents, it was a good city, a good hockey-loving city, where he could settle down and start to build his life. The list goes on. He thinks his mom even believed some of them.
He couldn’t deny, though, not to himself, at least, that Boston’s star center had a little bit to do with that decision.
    …
Shane transfers to Boston early in his career after he finds himself at the center of a scandal with the Metros. Boston gives him a chance to start over, to build the professional hockey career he always dreamed of, but the transfer doesn’t come without its fair share of problems, especially since Boston is home to his on-ice rival, Ilya Rozanov.
The two become unlikely friends when Shane agrees to help him practice his English, bonding as they start to share bits of their respective cultures.
There are some things about Rozanov, however, that Shane doesn’t quite understand.
