The idea is so absurd she has to laugh. Mizi shoves at Sua’s shoulder playfully, from where they’re curled up together on the rooftop— passing back the phone. “I think somebody’s been watching too much TV…”
“Mizi, look, seriously!” Sua frowned, scrolling past news articles on her phone, holding them up so Mizi can see the headlines. “I’m not making this up- Infection outbreak! Death by bite! They just discovered the pathogen that spreads it a few days ago but there’s no known cure—”
Mizi just sighs in response, leaning into her side. Her hand comes up to pluck the phone away from Sua’s hand – another hand comes up to gently smooth out the crease forming between Sua’s brows. “Oh come on, Sua, it’s probably just the media blowing it out of proportion.”
“Zombie outbreaks don’t actually happen in real life, I mean, that’s like— impossible.”
