Summary
Debris nearly takes him out, catching himself before his humiliating crash and burn, when some kind of liquid splashes onto the pavement and—now, Red Hood is screaming. What.
Matt hears several people scream into the intercoms, both his pilfered one and Red Hood’s. It’s not just that mysterious Oracle; multiple voices are cutting in and out, trying to ask what would get the Red Hood to scream in pain like that. Then it’s back to just Oracle. They’re trying to get Red Hood to talk, to answer all of these questions.
He quickly makes his way back to Red Hood when he fails to reply, breathing laboriously and tumbling back until he slams against an abandoned car.
“Daredevil, tell me what’s going on.” Oracle is sterner than before. Everything about this is disorienting.
As much as Matt would love to tell them what happened, even he doesn’t fully understand; he doesn’t have any answers to give.
Or, this thing between Daredevil and Red Hood may be new, but the thing between Matt and Jason is just beginning. Could've done without the injury that hits close to home, but that's just their luck, isn't it?

Wally tries to quietly get closer. From where he's standing, his ankles force the stream to go around. At this speed, each and every protruding rock pokes into his feet. Even though he knows that he can run to this person, catch them before they tip over, it's best to give them the chance to choose.
The person in front of him doesn't move from their spot, but they do bury their face in their hands for a second, whispering, "I can't believe this." He wants to ask. They turn around.
It's… "Jason?" Wait, Dick's little brother?
Or, Wally is backup until he makes a necessary pitstop to talk someone off the edge.

Summary
The soldier tightens his hold, pressing the intruder's windpipe closer to the metal door, as alarms continue to blare and give him a migraine. He feels the body fall limp. He waits a few more moments before letting go and maneuvering the body as he opens the door.
"Sike." He hears it right as the intruder slams his head into the soldier's face. The strike was effective in getting him slightly off-balance, but not enough to let go. The soldier switches his hold, using his metal arm as makeshift cuffs as he slides a knife out of the intruder's own holster and holds it against his neck.
"Sike," the soldier says back.
Or, Bucky and Jason nearly kill each other, but it's a one-sided rivalry.

Tony hadn't meant to make a habit of reassuring Steve's partners that his relationship with Bucky was totally and wholly platonic. It just happened to fall to him once, and then kept falling to him; Tony simply went along with it.
A couple years down, he had talking points and everything. So when Steve's latest partner asked to speak with him, he assumed it was (once again) because they felt insecure about Bucky's presence in Steve's life. Imagine his surprise when it turned out they felt threatened by him.

"—and how is that even POSSIBLE?" He recognized the voice immediately. Tim. And he sounded... not good.
Jason should have left. Should have just aborted the mission and come back another time when Tim wasn't around. That was the smart play. The tactical play. But curiosity was a bitch, and Jason found himself moving toward the sound instead of away from it. He peered around the doorframe and saw Tim in his office, pacing like a caged animal with at least five empty coffee cups scattered across his desk. The kid looked like he hadn't slept in a week. Maybe longer.

Summary
“Sorry" Jason whispers.
Talon cocks its head to the side as Jason makes a weak pleading little cheep, immediately turning its attention to the owlet, burying the hatchling in its chest with a low coo, preening the black curls gently as Jason sniffs and clings on.
"Owlet not sorry" Talon snaps, a little forcefully as its hatchling’s snotty nose presses against its neck. It doesn't think the words come out quite right but Jason trills weakly and it seems like he understands.
"Why owlet hurt" it says slower, making sure to get the sentence right as Jason presses closer. "I dunno Dickie, always hurts" the owlet murmurs "I- usually I can ignore it but s-sometimes it gets bad. Hurts a lot."
OR
After rescuing Jason off the streets Dick tries to understand why his owlet is in so much pain and does his best to take care of the hatchling with limited resources.
