Summary
Jason Todd has an absolutely shit life.
That's about it. His life has been shit since he could walk. Then he got picked up by Batman while trying to boost his tires. But it's Batman so it's cool right? absofuckinglutely not. Because he gets beat up, shot, electrocuted, kidnapped, and tortured. Then he gets blown up. Then he claws his way out of his grave. Then he ends up in the Lazarus Pit. Then he's back in the city that raised and killed him. He's the Red Hood. Life is bearable. He can breathe. Then kids start disappearing off the street and suddenly the Bats want in on his investigation. He cant stand being around them. But. They have resources. What's the worst that could happen? He's already died once and it probably can't get much worse than that.
(it definitely can).Completely self indulgent fanfiction where I write Jason's life exactly how I want while cramming in as much pain and angst and hurt and injuries and crying and screaming and hugs and blood as humanly possible. I mean like every chapter Jason's probably gonna be bleeding out and dying in an alley or something idk

Summary
And it hurts. It hurts because Josh might not wake up.
And if he doesn’t, Sam won’t even get to grieve him properly. He’ll have to stand at the back of the room, hands folded, shoulders straight, playing the part of “colleague.” He’ll have to give the world nothing.
Because what he and Josh have? It lives in the space between shadows. And no one ever mourns a secret.

Summary
The air in the West Wing always smelled the same: a mix of floor wax, expensive stationary, and the faint, metallic scent of history being made. For Josh Lyman, it used to be the smell of home. Now, as he walked through the heavy doors and navigated the labyrinthine hallways toward his office, it felt like a minefield. Every footfall of a Secret Service agent was a potential percussion cap; every slamming door in the press briefing room was a gunshot.
He adjusted his suit jacket, pulling it tight over his frame. He had lost weight—more than he cared to admit to the bathroom mirror—and the fabric felt like it was wearing him rather than the other way around. He kept his head down, eyes fixed on a folder in his hand that contained nothing more than a draft of a memo on soybean subsidies, but it served as a shield. If he looked busy, people wouldn't look too closely at the way his eyes darted toward the exits.

Summary
"I'd kill for you, you know."
"I know."
"I'd do it again."
Finney kisses him to shut him up. Down the hall, the shower turns on. They have maybe ten minutes before Dad comes back out.
Robin uses eight of them kissing Finney slow and deep, hands sliding up his back, holding him close enough to feel his heartbeat.

Summary
He slowly walked up to Robin, heart pounding and hands shaking, and tilted his head in synchrony with the boy in front of him. Sizing him up, he could tell that the Mexican boy had grown in the years they had not spoken— his curly dark brown hair had gotten slightly shorter, curving at his jaw and framing his face; he had finally grown taller than Finney by a good few inches, even with finney’s boots; and he had a small slit above his brow— from a fight, Finney guessed. There were a lot of guesses Finney had about his childhood friend— but two things were for certain.
First, that Robin had somehow gotten even more beautiful than he was in middle school, before he and his uncle vanished without a trace.
And second, that Finney would never forgive him for leaving like he did.
In which,
1) There were no kidnappings aside from Finney’s
2) Robin left the day after Finney was kidnapped
3) Robin comes back, this time with a serial killer (not a kidnapper) on the loose in his childhood town— and this time, he’s determined to stick with Finn through it all.on hiatus for an unspecified (long term) period of time

Summary
“Will I still be able to talk with you?”
“This is the last call Finn.”
…
Maybe bringing a phone to an axe fight wasn’t their best idea. But hey, they were desperate, and at least he got The Grabber before death got to him, right?or
Finney Blake dies in the basement with the grabber. But that isn’t anywhere near the end of his story. But sadly, that means it’s not the grabbers either.Bookmarked by fromdusk_til_dawn
