Summary
Approximately six years after they make it back from the island.
Ralph came back a broken boy, who decided to live for the people who died because of him, that's what he thinks anyways; he blames himself. The people who died; which are Piggy and Simon, and that littlun—Mulberry boy, who Ralph never knew the real name of.
For the ones who can no longer live the lives that were laid out for them. The lives they deserve, but now, Ralph has to be that person, the person for all three boys; that they were meant to be. The person that he's scared he can't be. But, he has that chance, the chance they'll never get.Forever boys, forever stuck on that island. Forever fighting to survive.
But, he. He can live for them. Be the person they would've been. Or could've been.Ralph and Jack trauma bond, six years later.
I'm not actually in England so sorry if I mess up anything, anyways they're year 13 in college or senior in highschool. They're 18 years old, about to graduate highschool/college. So around spring time, but it's England so cloudy and icky.

Summary
Ralph is right in front of him now. Even without the sunlight, his face is still perfect. His tanned skin and the way his face is rounded just to the right amount. His beaming smile that shames the sun and the way his blue eyes now light up like a night sky filled with lanterns. His silky hair and the way they cover just a bit of his eyes. His form that fits perfectly into the suit, and the way that white, just like any other color, fits him so well. The way his blush cannot be concealed, and the way his nose scrunches up just a bit when he giggles. Jack loves everything about Ralph, and he is willing to keep doing that for the rest of his life.
That is why he doesn't, and never will hesitate when Ralph's hand is given to him. A "You're beautiful" slips out of his mouth, but it is soundless and Ralph smiles when he hears it. He pulls the blonde up to stand in front of him, and all he does next is stare. Awed. Dumbfounded. Undeniably in love.

In a way, it was painful to look at him. All that light, all those colors, that smile…could a person be radiant? Too bright, too brilliant. It was like looking at the sun, but - the sun forced his eyes away. Ralph just made him want to look longer.
What was he wanting, right then? He wanted something so, so bad. He could feel it inside, pulling at him. What was it?
“Jack, you can let me go now.”
Jack started, snapped back to reality. “Oh.” He let go immediately, as if Ralph had burned him. He did feel warm, was almost certain he was blushing. He grinned again. It was unsteady this time. “Ha.”
“Ha,” Ralph echoed.
